PROFESSIONAL COMMITMENT

Michael D. O’Steen, P.E. is a professionally licensed engineer specializing in the structural design and inspection of residential and commercial structures, with expertise in development within coastal environments. He has served as President of his engineering firm since 2009. During this time, he has performed business development and project management as engineer of record from development concept to completed construction for design-build delivery schedules.

OUTER BANKS LIFE

Michael is a member of the Outer Banks Home Builders Association and also served on the Board for 12 years. Serving on the Board helped him protect the local building community by remaining up to date on legislative and code related topics. It also enabled Mike to build relationships with highly skilled professionals throughout the construction industry.

Michael lives on the Outer Banks with his family. In his free time, he enjoys the beautiful Outer Banks’s beaches for surfing and boating, as well as spending time traveling with his wife and adult children.
